Inside, a hinged metal-and-nylon body pairs with a knurled screw cap on top. Open the housing, place it over the teeth, and tighten the screw; the two halves clamp onto the zipper like a vise. It’s removable and reusable—the screw allows repositioning, and loosening releases it without damaging fabric or teeth.
The slider is designed to stay put once secured. It doesn’t rely on adhesive or friction alone; the screw bites the teeth to hold, and you can transfer it to another garment if needed.
